Educational Problems- Learning Disabilities
Reading Problems- Reading is a complicated and important skill. We administer five
different reading tests which measure comprehension, phonics, and speed.
Math Skills- The Woodcock-Johnson-3 Achievement Test battery assesses calculation
skills, speed of operations, word problems and mathematical concepts.
Intelligence Testing- We generally use the Wechler Scales (WISC-IV, WAIS-III, WPPSI-III) to appraise cognitive strengths and
weaknesses. We can estimate whether your child qualifies for special
accommodations from the school. We will recommend other assistance
outside of the public school as needed.
Other educational tests we routinely measure:
- Writing skills
- Oral and written language
- Attention, concentration, and short-term memory
- Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
